Hello Storytellers!

Time for our next group event! This time, we’re making a contest. The judging process will involve anyone who is in the group. More detail will be explained in a moment.

Genre: Lion King funny. This is a contest for creating parody and comedy.
Theme: Explain why Scar missed the presentation of Simba.

A common explanation is that Scar was spiteful and jealous of the birth of his nephew and intentionally missed the presentation of the future King. But what if it was another reason? Maybe Scar wanted to attend but he got lost and sat on the other side of Pride Rock instead. Perhaps he was doing his nails. Maybe he was making a bouquet of flowers for Simba and lost track of time. Remember, we are encouraging you to tell the story in a humorous manner.

Judging
The judging process will be a public vote by members of this group. At the conclusion of the contest, group members are invited to choose their favourite submission (other than their own) and note their preference to either Juffs, Nollaig or in a group note. The criteria for judging should be based on the following:

1) Humour
2) Originality
3) Creativity
4) Artistic
